Do you find yourself comparing yourself to others?

Stop comparing yourself to others! Everyone tells us not to do it. “Don’t compare yourself to her.” We all know they are right, that we should only compare ourselves today to yesterday. Yet we still continue to look at others and make comparisons. Why? It’s easy to look at the top physiques on social media, on the magazine covers, or even at the best bodies in the gym and think, “I wish I could do what she does. I wish I looked just like her.” I’ve done this. We all have. But the bottom line is… comparing yourself to others is unhealthy and unproductive and is going to get us nowhere.

So you want to get somewhere? Stop comparing yourself to others!

The day I stopped comparing my fitness journey and my physique to others was the day I was set free. It was the day my journey became a lot more enjoyable and therefore sustainable.

Successful people focus on their own shit.

It is a waste of valuable time to watch someone else’s life wishing you had what they had when you could spend that time working on yourself and bettering yourself.

You will never be happy if you continue to compete and compare with anyone other than yourself. You will never win that battle.

But when we compete with ourselves. That is when we get better. That is a battle we could win.

Look in the mirror. That’s your competition. It’s you vs you. Always.
